My Reading Prediction

I have learnt to use pictures to give detailed predictions about the story.

I liked how I used a lot of detail to describe the characters on the front cover.

I'm proud that I made a good prediction.

Jeffery Basic Facts Test Graph

During the week we practise our basic facts for our homework. On Fridays we have a speed test where we try to complete 100 facts in 6 minutes 30 seconds. This graph shows my scores so far.

I like this because you can see my progress.

When I look at this graph I can see that I am improving most of the weeks.

WALT sketch a face by following grid guidelines to make each feature on the face in proportion.

First we drew a picture of what we thought we looked like.

I thought my before picture wasn’t that good because it didn’t have lots of detail and the shapes were not right.  The face wasn’t in proportion.

After a few art lessons we learned how to sketch a grid across the shape of our face to help us draw each feature in proportion.  

I thought my after picture was a huge improvement from my before picture because all the parts were more in proportion. I am proud of my picture because it looks pretty cool.
